Today is my born-day (I love saying that instead of birthday, don't know why)! Thanks to God for another year and another opportunity to make dreams into a reality!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE "The Office" (like, duh!) so this frame was fitting:

Since my b'day falls on a Monday, Mister Mr. decided to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. OMG! That man is FULL of surprises.
Saturday we woke up early and I got dressed. We went and had breakfast and as soon as we were done he pulls out this blindfold. My first thoughts "No! No! No!" You see, I hate blindfolds. But...for him I'd do anything so...I sucked it up and put the dang-on blindfold on.
Our first stop?

One of my favorite day spas in town for a one-hour massage.
Aaaaah!
After we left the day spa, seriously, I could've gone home and been a happy, relaxed camper...but Mister Mr. had more in store! :) He pulled out that dadgum blindfold (AGAIN) and I didn't fight it (too much) before putting it on.
Our next stop on the blindfold tour?
Fred Astaire Studio for one-on-one dancing lessons. Mister Mr. and I have always said we wanted to take professional dancing lessons-just as something different to do together-but we never got around to it! Honestly, I LOVED the dancing instructions...LOVED. It was so much fun and it really brought us closer...it was a great time. Of course, the blindfold re-entered my life after we were done as we departed to our next location. The next stop?

One of my faaaaaavorite brunch spots in town: Chez Pierre. OMG! I had the Angus burger (don't judge me) with sweet potato fries...OH-EM-GEE! So delish.
After that we headed home and I assumed our evening was over, right? WRONG. We relaxed for a few minutes before Mister Mr. informed me that it was time to go.
"Go where?" I asked...
"Somewhere!" He replied
*sigh*
So I got back in the car and put the blindfold on for, what I hoped would be, the last time! We drove and drove and drove and drove and when the car stopped....guess where we were?
The most elite hotel in town, Hotel Duval! If you remember I took my boudoir pictures at this hotel and was flooooored by how gorgeous it was! When we walked in I assumed Mister Mr. got the regular rooms (which are somewhat small) but when I cracked the door open what was it?The Presidential/Executive Suite!!!
I can't tell you how surprised I was by the whole day! Seriously. Mister Mr. went above & beyond and I was so touched! It was fun to have a stay-cation (if you will) right in our own town!
Later that evening we got dolled up and went to another one of my favorite eateries, Masa! Yummy in my tummy!
All in all? I had one of the BEST birthdays ever...thanks to my husband! :)
So here's to another excellent birthday and continued blessings!
